When I began to work on Jabril's Kiss which was the first world of the Seven Earths Universe, I was inspired by African American struggle, the struggle of Black people in this country. I was inspired by the crimes of Cointelpro, the Secret Societies and the Secret Destiny of America. I wanted to uncover the truth about the CIA and the FBI. I wanted to explore an alternate ending to the assasination of leaders who fought against oppression.
